MONA Walkabout #3

Sidney Nolan’s Rainbow Serpent + Jannis Kounellis’s arte povera installation w/ coal, surrealist installation w/ knife & fish & deadly meat hook/rope noose installation  🙂 + a full metal head w/ electronics & video inside. MONA is brimming to the rafters w/ old & new art. Much has been said about it, but it is really a stunning museum – from the ferry journey to the descent via glass elevator drilled through the sandstone to the art pushing extremes. Not a bad working holiday 🙂
