MONA Walkabout #2
Ancient artefacts, some works I can’t pin to an artist from memory đ but nevertheless was very interesting + a time slice video by Daniel Crooks + Queen: A Portrait of Madonna by Candice Breitz + Pausiris by Paul Bourke & Peter Morse + The Morgue by Andres Serrano – the last two, works installed in what they called The Death Room
Last Days…
Moving across the country. Nesting in Newtown for a few days, before we hit the road x
One of the things I think I’ll miss in Sydney is the food. Food here is so good these days, with all the mix of cultures and high quality produce.
Formula 1 Melbourne
Hillarys Boat Harbour
Quick drive down the road for some fish & chips.  Everything  tastes so much better when eaten in such a pretty place đ x
Elizabeth Quay Construction
Our birds eye view of Elizabeth Quay in Perth, during the construction phase. Looking really good x
Mactan Island
Suki packing for the Philippines
So we are flying to the Philippines in several hours and staying for 3 weeks! Â A cousin of mine is getting married and we thought we’d throw some island hopping in, while we were at it đ The Philippines is an amazing holiday destination, what with over 7000 beautiful islands to explore and go to. Some of the places we are thinking of, aside from Manila and Cebu (where the wedding will be) are Bohol and Palawan.
Palawan is getting cult status these days for being one of the most beautiful islands in the world (Conde Nast, Huffington Post etc) so we are quite excited. Packing luggage on the other hand, is another thing all together…
Hopefully it’s a good flight. See you in the Philippines! Woof! x Suki
